While ceramics has been my focus for 45 years, I have also expanded into combining it with other media including fiber, glass and found objects. I am instinctively drawn to ancient themes and the natural world as sources for my work.

Artist at work Much of my life I have experienced a closeness with earth, rock and all the organic wonders while I have hiked, backpacked, run rivers, skied and sought quiet, intimate, remote locations. I also was introduced to geological formations and fossils for many years as my 'Soil Scientist' Father showed his children these wonders.

I am currently creating fiber vessels.
